Establishing Your
Named Scholarship
Create a scholarship in your name, the name of someone you love, or someone who has inspired you. It's a wonderful way to pay it forward and create an important legacy by changing the life of a worthy young person. Hear from some of our scholarship sponsors and learn more below.
I love my grandmother Marie dearly and I wanted to honor her strength and commitment to our family. She was taken out of school after the 8th grade to be a seamstress to earn money for her family. This was the custom in her family, but she saw to it that all her children and grandchildren had the best educational options possible. She gave what was never given to her.
As I’ve gotten older, I understand more deeply how important her sacrifice and commitment were to all of us who came after her, and it feels really good to commemorate her strength with a named scholarship.
Marie Fisher Scholarship
Dr. Sandwiess was a family man, but he was a dedicated teacher and education administrator to thousands of young people. He was also a creative, talented man who, on his rare days off, both taught music and played professionally.
I remember him as a man with an exceptional spirit who embodied kindness and gentleness, never speaking a harsh word. Though he's been gone for years, his influence remains strong.
By empowering future generations to pursue their educational dreams, I want to help ensure that his memory and love for learning and music lives on through this scholarship.
