Women in Economics

The Kautz-Uible Women in Economics initiative promotes an inclusive support group for economics students at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. All students, irrespective of their gender, are welcome to join.

The goals of this initiative are to:

  • Provide mentoring and in-person and virtual events that prepare students to be highly successful professionals in an increasingly diverse workforce.

  • Connect alums and students through mentorship and networking opportunities.

To join the Kautz-Uible Women in Economics LinkedIn group, please email Amanda Wait at amanda.lee.wait@gmail.com.

Events

The Kautz-Uible Women in Economics initiative was spearheaded by alumna Amanda Wait (BA, '00) in 2016. Since then, Amanda and fellow alumna Nandita Jena (MS, '03) have carried the initiative forward by creating a community of economics students and alums.
