Agentic AI Challenge – Official Judging Framework
1.0 Overview and Submission Guidelines
This document provides the official evaluation framework for the Kautz-Uible Economics Institute Agentic AI Challenge. Its purpose is to ensure a fair, transparent, and consistent assessment of all submissions by clearly defining the standards for success.
1.1 Submission Components
Each team must submit:

A single Markdown file named Claude.MD or Agents.MD detailing the agent's design, economic rationale, and implementation.

A video presentation (between 5 and 10 minutes) explaining the agent's economic application, functionality, and key insights.

An artifact that represents the output of your AI agent
1.2 Team Requirements
Teams must consist of one to four University of Cincinnati (UC) students, with the mandatory inclusion of at least one economics major.
1.3 Scoring Framework
Judges will score each of four categories on a scale of 0–10 points. The maximum possible score is 40 points.
2.0 Evaluation Categories
Originality of the Agent

Tackles a novel economic question or problem using agentic AI.

Economic Relevance of the Agent

Addresses a well-defined economic problem.

Sophistication & Complexity of the Agent

Demonstrates advanced technical execution.

Student Submission Checklist
